I grew up eating "puffs" which many of you probably know as dutch babies.
Below is a copy of my mama's recipe that is part of my favorite recipe collection that she gave me when I got married. Oh sweet puffs...you will forever have a place in my heart, along
with a wedge of lemon and a few sprinkles of powdered sugar... mmm.
Puff Recipe
you will need...
6 eggs
1/2 c butter
1 1/2 c milk
1 1/2 c flour
Place butter in 9x13 pan and set in a 425* oven.
While butter melts, mix batter quickly.Put eggs in a blender or food processor and whirl at high speed for 1 minute. With motor running, gradually add in milk, then slowly add flour; continue whirling for 30 seconds.Remove pan from oven and pour batter in with butter. Bake until pancake is puffy and well browned (20-25 minutes).
Serve with lemon and powdered sugar or any pancake topping you prefer!
