I'll never forget the day that those two pink lines appeared. I screamed with joy and jumped up and down in our little one bedroom apartment. Squeezed Jaxy Beagle and ran out the door to plan how I'd share the news with you when you got home from school. Ohh the look of utter confusion that swept across your face as you walked through that door. Then slowly you started to grasp what was happening and your eyes got huge and your smile grew as you made me swear up and down that this was for real. You kissed me and drove me to Starbucks and bought me a bag of decaf coffee:) And from that day forward life with you has only continued to confirm that you were the best decision I have ever made! I can't imagine doing life with anyone else. Ever.
This week I stood outside Greyson's bedroom and heard you intentionally pause while reading his favorite rain forest book and lecture him on snake safety...
"Grey if you are playing in the backyard and you see a snake... you need to scream and run straight to daddy and mommy. Do. you. understand??!!!"
"Gweyson eat snake!! (insert Greyson's cheeky giggle)"
"NO. NO. NO. Daddy is not joking. This is serious. Greyson does not eat snake!
Greyson does not touch snake!
You run to Daddy and Mommy!
Repeat after me...
"if.greyson.sees.snake.he.runs.to.daddy.and.mommy."
"Gweyson eats dem snakes!"

I love watching you love our sons.
