These Days With a Minky.

Time is moving fast... in the Minky world that is.

It seems with each new day my little one changes and finds a way

to steal my heart even more (as if that is even possible???).

We have been talking to him about the upcoming arrival of his baby brother.

Which talking to an almost two year old about why mama's belly is

getting quite enormous has been a process... very entertaining.

A few weeks ago Grey started calling the baby

BUBBA.
Still trying to figure that one out!
Coming from Grey it sounds more like

B-UGHHHH-BUUUHHH.

He will point to my stomach throughout the day,
giggle and say,

"OUT. BUBBA OUT."

I am praying some major mama prayers that Grey will want
"Bubba" to stay out once he actually arrives...
;)

Swiping birthday cakes is another one of his many specialties.
  We witnessed this in full force last
week as we had a load of family birthdays to celebrate...
pretty sure he thought we were celebrating his
birthday all week. He is still requesting
cake and candles after every meal.

Valentine's Day we spent at home together.
We snuggled up on the couch and watched a bit of Ice Age,
 made dinner and snacked on some chocolate strawberries.
Simple always wins.

The depth of my love for this little-little
scares me. It is so beyond anything I could have ever
imagined or understood. He brings so much joy to our lives.
Jay and I have made plenty of
mistakes... but we sure nailed it with our
Grey Grey. He is the greatest little blessing.
