To Celebrate Da-Da!

 

We've spent the past few days celebrating Jay's birthday!

The birthday boy requested his favorite mocha cake,

some quality family time on the ski hill and a day to get his duck hunting on.

I threw a 30th bday celebration into the mix against his wishes...which he eventually thanked me for over and over ;)

 

My heart melted as I made Jay's cake before heading to celebrate with family.

I stood in our kitchen and just silently observed as he sat cuddled up on the couch with Minky and the Beagles watching Veggie Tales Christmas. Every few minutes I would watch him smooch G on the head and nuzzle his chubby little neck folds. 

I love doing life with this man.

He is so good to us.

How blessed we are to call him ours.
