Auntie Kortney!!!

This baby sister of mine is hilarious!!!

Two of my favorite Kortney stories:

Story # 1

My family and friends threw me a going away party

before I left for Russia. Kortney had met a few of my friends

for the first time that night. At the end of the party one of my

friends came up to me and asked,

"Why didn't you ever tell us you had an adopted sister from England?"

Huuuhh???

Well... Little Miss Jokester had spent the entire night

talking in a British accent and convincing everyone she was adopted.

She had successfully fooled them all.

Story # 2

For the past few years Kortney has been working on a sleeve of tattoos on her arm.

She called me last summer and asked,

"Katy, what is your favorite ocean animal?"

Where I quickly replied,

"Sea horses of course!"

So a few weeks later...

She showed up to my house with a new addition to her collage of color...

a bright orange

"Katy Inspired Sea Horse Tattoo" on her forearm.

We had a good laugh.

Our mother was not amused.

I love the spunk this one has.

When we are together she spends her time messing with me.

 I am typically lecturing and mothering her- I'm getting better though.

I just want the best for her!

She knows it.

I think we work so well because we are so different...

and we just love the heck out of each other.
