Synnøve.

I was a hot mess this morning as I sat staring at my computer screen.
I sat for a good while in my spit up covered pajamas and just sobbed like crazy.
I had finally received an email that I had been waiting for with serious anticipation!
This is my dearest friend and one of the most
amazing women I have ever known.
Synnøve
When we met she introduced herself as Synnove- then followed
her introduction with,
"But you can call me Lee. Americans can't pronounce my name."
 I call her Lee Lee.
Lee Lee and I met in 2007 at YWAM Orlando.
Lee came from Denmark.
We lived in Orlando as we prepared for the mission field with ten other people
 from all around the world.
After months in Orlando we headed to Russia...

Russia rocked my world.
My life was forever changed.
Lee was a huge part of it all.

I encountered Jesus in ways that I never had before.
My eyes were opened big time as I truly experienced suffering- major suffering.
My time spent in Russia gave me the opportunity to take my focus off myself and pour it into the lives that surrounded us.

Lee and I experienced so much together.
We were inseparable from the day we met to the day we parted.
Lee is one of those people who you are instantly drawn to.
Her relationship with Jesus is the driving force behind
all she does. She is as real as it gets.
She reaches out to others with an incredible amount of love and concern...
expecting nothing in return.

The explanation behind this morning's tears:

This beautiful friend of mine...
has found the second love of her life.

Filip.

I am overwhelmed with emotion as I think back to
the countless conversations we had involving what
we each desired in our future husband. This particular conversation always
led back to us trusting and believing that God had amazing men in store for us...

Men of God.
(Men who served God with reckless abandon)

And after receiving a collection of Lee's stunning wedding photos this morning-
I was once again reminded of

God's faithfulness.

Congratulations you sweet Danish newlyweds!!!
We wish we could have been there to share in your special day!!!

I love you Lee Lee!!!

Look out y'all...
We've got some serious world changers right here!!!
