@ Holy Week...

Tuesday, March 26, 2013

Tonight I was in the kitchen making this soup while
attempting to maintain an eye on Minky who was very busy in his sea of
mixing bowls and wooden spoons...

and the Holy Spirit hit me hard.

Chris Tomlin's This is Our God came on my Pandora station...

the next thing I knew I was chopping tomatoes and crying my eyes out.
Call me crazy but I live for these moments.

The moments where I am so in love with Jesus that I am about to get on my rooftop and scream...

World.
Listen up!!!
I don't care what you think of me...
but I can't live another second being quiet.
Do you know that the ONE TRUE LIVING GOD loves
YOU more than you could ever fathom???!!! Do you know there is nothing you can
do to change that???!! Do you know that He will meet you wherever you are at??!!!

I don't know what you've been through...
 but God does.

Good Friday and Easter are quickly approaching...

I've been reading in the Word how Jesus was persecuted and how he continued
to love and serve and reach out and forgive and LOVE and LOVE and LOVE....

Surely the persecution I have experienced and will continue to experience is NOTHING compared to the persecution Jesus went through.

this Holy Week the following has been weighing heavily on my heart...

reach out more. without question forgive. love those who are not
easy to love. be moved by what He thinks. don't be afraid to speak Truth in the moments that are the hardest and the most uncomfortable. stand up for what is good and holy and righteous and honorable. do not waiver. strive for authenticity. seek God above all else...

and to think He was persecuted and suffered on the cross for me.

Once again...no words.

"I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,  and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me" (Philippians 3:10-12).
