I am amazed with how faithful God is. I am so grateful to serve a God who is ultimately in control of my life….
Over a year ago the only thing on my mind was… Why on earth Jacksonville??? My previous experience with Florida didn’t exactly leave me wanting more… Humidity, nasty bugs, zero mountains, flat-frizzy hair, the word “Y'all”… you get the picture! BUT…. now I can honestly say I absolutely love living here. And I will take my frizzy hair, the humidity, and my near death experiences with palmetto bugs any day!
My husband and I began our first year of marriage here - newlyweds away from home, family, and friends. Jay has been in grad school. Living here has been challenging at times, yet it has been such a fulfilling experience. God has so strongly made himself known in our marriage. Our relationship with Him and with each other has truly thrived during this time. We have made amazing friends who are so encouraging and such a blessing to our lives. I've been blessed with a great job. Our church rocks. And we have become the proud "parents" of our adorable little beagle Jax!
Right now we don’t have much by the world’s standards, and that is perfectly okay. We are content, and one of my deepest prayers is that this contentment never ceases. I am so grateful for this time and for all of the amazing memories we have made. This season of our lives will forever be engraved in our hearts.

Thank you Jesus for being for us!!!
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).
